Conveyance

  1. Transport facilities are provided for the convenience of the students, although it is not an obligatory service of the school.
  2. Parents are requested to study the specified bus routes and opt for those which suit them the best. Please remember that it is not possible to cater to individual requirements at the cost of time and distance.
  3. Applications for school transport, transport cancellation, change of bus stops, change of bus route etc., should be submitted to school transport in-charge one month in advance.
  4. Buses will be available only on the routes and at stops fixed by the school and any request for new stops will not be entertained. However the school reserves the right to make any change if found in evitable.
  5. School reserves the right to deny the use of the bus to any student at any time, to change the route or to cancel any particular route, if it becomes necessary.
  6. Students traveling by the school bus should always be in proper school uniform and in possession of the school I-Card, failing which they will not be allowed to board the bus.
  7. Student must report at the scheduled stop 5 minutes before the bus arrival time (His/her own special way).
  8. Parents of children from Nursery to V should come / send a responsible person to collect their ward from the bus stop failing which the child will be brought back to school.
  9. Passengers must go directly to an available or assigned seat.
  10. The buses will not wait for late-comers.
  11. The children should stay away from the main road unit the bus arrives.
  12. No students should come near entry door of the bus unit it has come to a halt.
  13. The drivers are authorised to stop buses at the designated stops only unless directed otherwise by the school transport in charge.
  14. No student will be allowed to board a bus other than the one allotted, unless he/she has written permission from the school authorities.
  15. Distracting the driver's attention by shouting and other acts is strictly prohibited.
  16. No student should stand on the footboard.
  17. The students' behaviour in the bus must be polite. Loud talking, playing games, swinging on overhead rails and running up and down in the bus must be avoided.
  18. The conductor on the bus will be responsible for the seating and standing arrangements in the bus. As a general rule, seats will be allotted to the smaller children. Needless to say, every student will be given a seat.
  19. Intentional vandalism such as breaking window-panes, tearing and cutting of seat covers, defacing the interior of the bus and any other related offence will result in heavy damage penalty and expulsion from the facility.
  20. When the bus is in motion, students must not move around in the bus and any part of their body should not be outside the bus.
  21. Objects of any kind must not be discarded inside or thrown out of the bus.
  22. Use of foul language or indulging in fights or misconduct in the bus is valid reasons for suspension of the bus facility.
  23. As you are aware the school will take every precaution for the safety of the children, however the school is not responsible for situations beyond their control.
  24. Whenever there is an after school bus route, the buses will cover only a few common stops on the main roads in that area. The regular route will not carry out on such occasions.
  25. Parents are requested to forward all request regarding transport to the transport in-charge. All requests may not be feasible.
  26. Bus fee for 11 months is payable by those who use school transport.
  27. Request of parents to permit students to go back from school in some other bus to relative's homes will not be entertained. At such time parents are expected to come personally to collect the child after school.
  28. Parents whose children travel on buses are requested to take prior written permission from the Principal if they want the child not to travel back by bus on that day.
  29. Discontinuation of bus facility is not permissible in the middle of an academic session. Request for discontinuation for the next session must be submitted to the School Office by the 15th March positively.
  30. Please note that the transport in-charge is handling over 1500 students and is not always available to speak to parents. Please ensure you call only in case of an emergency.
  31. Please ensure that, under any circumstances, no percent boards the bus to discuss any problem of their ward. In case they weal to discuss any issue please meat the school Principal.
  32. There is no system of part withdrawal or one way charge.
  33. If any student found, using the transport without authorisation, will charge for full year.
  34. Students who come to school in the care of parents should never leave before the parents arrive. In case of delay, they should report to the school office. Those who go alone should be prompt in returning straight home.
  35. Students, under any circumstances, should not drive down to school. Strict action will be taken against the student violating this rule.
